(Reuters) - A commuter train struck a car on Tuesday near the town of Valhalla, New York, the Metro-North Railroad service said on its official Twitter feed. It was not immediately clear if there were injuries or fatalities. The police department in Mount Pleasant, which is in charge of security in Valhalla, about 30 miles northeast of New York City, declined to give any information on the incident when contacted by Reuters.
