Stephanie Kwolek, Kevlar inventor, dies at 90

(AP) — Stephanie Kwolek, a pioneering female chemist at DuPont who invented the exceedingly tough fibers widely used in Kevlar body armor, has died, colleagues said Friday. She was 90.
